Configuring and Enabling the Scratch Off Feature

Go to Meevo > Integration > Salon Connect. A new browser tab opens on the setup page.
Select Admin Settings.

To set up Scratch Offs

Note: As part of the set up process, we recommend creating discounts in Meevo that align with the gifts that clients are eligible to receive. See Redeeming a Scratch Off Winner for details on redemptions.

In the Settings tab:
Enter your winning gifts. For example, you might add Free Haircut, Free Massage, etc. Go here for a quick explanation on the Winning Number that appears below each gift field.
Enter an Expiration Date. This date is the last day a client can play the scratch-off game via the SalonConnect app. Clients attempting to play scratch off after this date will receive a message that there are no tickets available.
Tickets: This determines the "upper limit" of the number that the app randomly generates when a client plays the scratch off. Making this number lower increases the chances that a client may win, while making this number higher reduces the client's chances.
Coupon Code: If you created a discount in Meevo for scratch off winners, enter the discount's barcode into this field so that the discount barcode and Scratch Off Coupon Code match. That way, if a client wins, you can scan their winning barcode in Meevo to bring up the Meevo discount in the register.
Push notifications: When enabled, SalonConnect will send confirmations to the client's mobile device, as well as a notification indicating that a scratch off is available for that day. The client will receive these notifications only if "push notifications" are enabled on the device for the SalonConnect app.
Select the Terms & Conditions tab and enter the terms for using the Scratch Off. The Terms & Conditions appear in the email a client receives after winning a scratch-off gift.
Select Finish to save your settings.

To enable or disable Scratch Off

In the Settings tab, toggle the scratch off option to on or off.
1. If turning it on, Scratch Off is available to clients immediately after you select Finish.
2. If turning it off, the Scratch Off button is hidden in the app immediately after you select Finish.
Select Finish to save your changes.
