Adding or Editing a Membership Cancellation Reason

To get to Membership Cancellation Reasons, type membercancelreason into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Membership > Cancellation Reasons.

To add a Membership Cancellation Reason

Tip: If creating several records that have similar details, select Copy to create a new record with fields identical to the one you just copied. This can save you a lot of time when creating data in Meevo. 

  1. From the Cancellation Reasons search form, select Add New.
  2. Display Name: Enter a name that will make this item easy to identify in lists or menus in Meevo.
  3. Include in Online Membership Sales Cancellation Reasons: When the checkbox is enabled, this cancellation reason will be an available selection for clients who are cancelling a membership in Online Membership Sales. At least one membership cancellation reason must be exposed in OMS for a client to be able to cancel a membership online.
  4. When finished, select Save.

To edit a Membership Cancellation Reason

Note: Some fields on the form may not be editable if the current location is not the item's Home Location. 

  1. Locate the Membership Cancellation Reason and select it.
  2. Select Edit, and then make your changes.
  3. When finished, select Save.
