Using the Image Gallery
What is the Image Gallery?
The Image Gallery is a place to store images related to your business, employees, Service Categories, or clients. In a future release of Meevo, these images will be viewable through Online Booking and other integrations.
What are Image Gallery Categories?
Image Gallery Categories are created in Central Office and group uploaded images into predefined categories. Use categories to quickly filter through images in your image gallery. Meevo provides four basic categories for your images: Business, Employee, Service Categories, and Client. When creating an Image Gallery Category, your selection determines in which screen the category will be available:
- Business: The image is available in Business Information > Image Gallery.
- Employee: The image is available in Employees > Image Gallery.
- Service Categories: The image is available in Service Categories > Image Gallery.
- Client: The image is available in Clients > Image Gallery.
What's special about Client Image Galleries?
The Client Image Gallery is a powerful feature that allows you to visually showcase progress and results, helping highlight the impact of your treatments and services. To that end, the Client Image Gallery provides additional features not yet available in the other image galleries:
- The Client Image Gallery offers the ability to save Before and After images.
- If you are a multi-location business, there is a Central Office Business Preferences option to make the Client Image Galleries viewable across all locations.
- If your business enables MeevoMD (our subscription designed specifically for medspas), you can apply the slider and overlay functions to Before & After photos to showcase client progress, making it easier to highlight the value of treatments during consultations and follow-ups.
To add an image to the Image Gallery
- Select the Image Gallery tab.
- Select Add New. The Image Editor window appears.
- There are two ways to select a file in the Image Editor window:
- Select the No Image Available placeholder or the existing image you will replace. Browse to the image and select Open.
- Locate the file on your system and drag and drop it into the DROP IMAGE HERE box.
- Filter by Category: Select a category to apply to the image. Note that if at least one image is associated with a category and the form is saved, the category cannot be changed.
- Short Description: Enter a description of the image. This description will appear below the image when viewing a larger version of the image (by selecting its thumbnail).
- When finished, select Save.
To change the order of images
To change their order, drag and drop the images as needed.
To edit an image
Note: Select an image's thumbnail to view a larger image.
- Select Edit below the image.
- Make your changes. If you inactivate an image, it remains in the Image Gallery, but does not appear in Online Booking. Inactivated images appear with a dashed red line along the border.
- Select Save when finished.
To delete an image
Deleted images are removed from the Image Gallery and no longer appear in Online Booking.
- Select Delete below the image.
- Select Yes on the confirmation message.
